Applications are invited for an Unaccredited Registrar for 2027 within the ENT - Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Department for a period of 12 months

This position will provide the successful candidate an exposure to a broad range of otolaryngology presentations and allow for development of technical skills.  The clinical program includes daily ward rounds and theatre sessions, weekly multidisciplinary meetings, fortnightly journal club, fortnightly audit meetings, and monthly skull base multidisciplinary meetings.  A one in three overnight oncall requirement is incorporated in this position.

This role has the key responsibility for co-ordinating the day to day work of the Unit and supervision of more junior medical staff and managing their duties.  The placement is designed to provide appropriate exposure and experience to enable the doctor to attain the required skills and meet the requirements for application into specialist training programs. 

Applications are encouraged from suitably qualified medical practitioners with previous unaccredited experience in ENT at the level of a Post-Graduate Year 4 or greater.
