We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join the team at The Albatross Bay Resort in Weipa!
The Albatross Bay Resort is a favourite amongst locals and visitors to Weipa offering stunning water views of the bay and a menu brimming with local caught seafood, The Deck Restaurant is the go-to for locals and visitors!
The following skills, behaviors, and qualifications are essential:
- Certificate III in Hospitality (commercial cookery) or higher
- Kitchen management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership, training, and motivational skills
- Availability to work hospitality hours
- Ability to manage conflict, remain calm under pressure, and work unsupervised
