About the role
As the Course Advisor for Bachelors, Masters programs and Higher Education Diploma programmes, you will be the trusted advisor for course enquirers, guiding candidates through course options and enrolment procedures. You will encourage enrolment to potential students, many of whom are seeking a change in direction, or a new career pathway. This role works with a close-knit team and training will be provided.
This role is permanent full-time. Days and hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, though some variability of hours between 8am and 6pm may be required from time to time.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing timely responses & follow-ups on enquiries from prospective students via phone/email
- Building relationships with course enquirers while developing a positive communication and dialogue
- Encouraging enrolment using a consultative, need-based approach.
- Achieving KPAs and KPIs whilst meeting customer (student) needs.
- Maintaining course enquirer records in CRM System.
About you
You should love to inspire, be positive and enthusiastic as you present to students the opportunities that a career in their chosen programme has to offer. Experience within an education provider/RTO in a student services/telephone-based role will be highly regarded.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience in a course advisory role or equivalent experience in other sales-based positions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in utilising CRM systems to manage external client relationships an advantage.
- Experience working in the education sector an advantage.
