About the role

  • Permanent, Full Time Position

Reporting to the Head of VET and Operations, you will be responsible for the development of learning and assessment materials for new and existing courses in Allied Health.


Key responsibilities would include:

  •  Liaise with content/industry specialists involved in course development.
  • Conduct research for learning materials as required.
  • Develop and review core learning and assessment materials including written workbooks, assessment activities, practical guidelines, facilitator (answer) guides and books of readings.
  • Develop and review support materials for new courses while ensuring these meet all required learning outcomes
  • Write and update mapping guides as required.
  • Assist the Head of VET and Training Manager with duties involving accreditation and registration requirements, and review of courses.

About You

  • Relevant qualifications in Allied Health or a related field.
  • Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (or willingness to undertake).
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience (voluntary or paid) in an Allied Health context.
  • Course development experience (preferably in the Vocational Education Sector).
  • A desire to work in a training environment.
  • Well developed communication skills.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
