About the role
Reporting to the Program Leader [undergraduate], the Lecturer is responsible for contributing to the delivery of the allied health higher education courses, and development, teaching and assessment of subjects in the allied health higher education courses
About you
You are a passionate and experienced educator with a strong background in allied health and higher education. With a relevant tertiary qualification and demonstrated teaching expertise, you excel at developing and delivering engaging, outcomes-focused learning experiences. You’re confident in curriculum design, assessment, and the use of digital learning platforms. A proactive and collaborative professional, you take initiative, work autonomously, and are committed to supporting student success. Your dedication to professional development and alignment with industry standards ensures you bring both academic and practical value to the role. Based in Melbourne.
Selection Criteria
- A relevant qualification at least at Bachelor level to the field/subject being taught.
- Demonstrated teaching ability in relevant fields at a tertiary level.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of subject curricula and teaching materials.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and administer the successful delivery of tertiary subjects.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise, negotiate and collaborate with both internal and external parties.
- Demonstrated continuing professional development in relevant field. ‘Professional Development’ includes further studies, membership of industry associations, attendance at industry workshops and functions and/or attending supervision.
- Eligible for membership of a relevant industry association.
