About the role

AGA is currently recruiting for a specialist school based in the outer norther suburbs of Melbourne and we are now looking for Education Support Workers to join their vibrant team.

Working a Monday to Friday roster (30-33hrs per week), you will assist children aged 5 to 18 years of age with intellectual disabilities, and work among highly experienced teachers while completing a Certificate III in Educational Support at our Deer Park Training Facility.

What we are looking for

  • Must have a Working with Children Check
  • Live in close proximity or have driver's license
  • Background in nursing (highly desired)
  • Willingness to complete a 12-month traineeship and attend classes
  • Available to work Monday to Friday and complete training within school holidays
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Takes initiative and manages time efficiently
  • Thick skinned and ability to take direction
