Intro to the role

About the role

Based in Truganina, though working predominantly on the road, this hands-on role will see the successful apprentice working a Fulltime, Monday to Friday roster whilst undertaking a Certificate III in Electrotechnology with AGA.

With over 20 years of operation, you will be exposed to a wide range of industries, work with Australian made products and develop your skills in design, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, inspections and safety. You will learn and grow within an innovative business that prides themselves on safety, sustainability and being experts within the field. You will work alongside a young and dynamic service team and have the opportunity to forge a long-term career within the industrial sector.

What you will be doing

  • Performing site visits with service team to uphold Maintenace contracts
  • Assist with breakdowns, repairs, upgrades and servicing of hoists and cranes
  • Testing, inspecting and fault finding of circuits and gearboxes
  • Participate in regular training and development to enhance your knowledge and skills
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Completing other tasks as directed

What we are looking for

  • 1st year or 2nd year apprentice
  • Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Yellow Card (Elevating Work Platform (EWP) under 11m)
  • Successful completion of Work Safely at Heights'' course
  • Someone that is confident, productive and proactive
  • Not afraid to get their hands dirty and eager to learn
  • Basic knowledge of use of electrical and hand tools
  • Previous industry experience (desirable)
