Harvest - Scale Clerk (Kinde, MI)

• Pay Rate: $17/hour
• Shift: 7 am- 3:30 pm (additional hours/day during harvest).
• Temporary Contract position with Raise with potential for perm hire with ADM
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required.

Job Summary:

Scale Clerk is a hybrid indoor/outdoor labor position involved in the daily tasks of the office. This position will provide excellent customer service displaying a positive and professional attitude. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Indoor: Weigh incoming and outgoing Trucks - File and retain documents Maintain clean and neat workspace
• Outdoor: Dump and load railcars and trucks·
• Assist with grain handling
• General housekeeping duties

Job Requirements:

• Commitment to ADM�s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
• Willing to work overtime and weekends
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude experience with office equipment, such as copier, fax machine, etc.
• During Harvest operations, attendance is vital, zero tolerance for attendance issues.

Educational Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance

Physical Requirements:

• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, prolonged periods of using a telephone, bending, kneeling, lift storage boxes
