Warehouse Operator - St Thomas, ND

• Pay Rate: $17.00 / hr to $19.00/hr depending on experience
• Shift: M-F 7am – 4pm
• Gatefeed Training Required
• Temporary Contract position with Raise with potential for perm hire with ADM
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for Loading and unloading van trailers using forklift. Candidate should have the ability to lift and carry up to­ 60 lbs on a regular basis.­ Must be on feet/forklift 8 hours/day, less break and lunch times. 

Responsibilities:

Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:

• Warehouse Operator, Loads and unloads van trailers using forklift
• Samples product, picks orders/builds pallets and general housekeeping

PHYSICAL DEMANDS­:

• Must be on feet/forklift 8 hours/day, less break and lunch times. 
• Work is 95% indoors on cement floor. Is exposed to dust & humidity.
• Turret lift works at height up to 20 feet.
• 70% of time is spent operating a fork lift.
• 15% of time spent lifting up to 55 lb bags.
• 10% of time is spent completing paperwork.
• 5% of time spent housekeeping.

Job Requirements:

To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• High School diploma or GED
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and driving a forklift.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Strong safety and math aptitude.
• Ability to lift and carry up to­60 lbs on a regular basis.
