ADH is a major health service within the Shire of Murrindindi and has long and proud history in health-related service provision to the area, providing medical and surgical care in a wide range of specialties, as well as multiple Primary Health programs. Alexandra is a 100 minute drive from Melbourne CBD and offers a rural lifestyle, great cafes and a beautiful natural environment enjoyed by walkers, cyclists and skiers. 

We are seeking a motivated physiotherapist to join our team  on a fixed term contract for 15 weeks, you will be working in a supportive multidisciplinary allied health team which includes; Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Occupational Therapist, Dietitian, Speech Pathologist, Case work and Counsellors and Community and District Nursing.  You will be challenged by a varied outpatient caseload including clients with musculoskeletal, neurodegenerative, falls prevention and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. You will also have the opportunity to work in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and exercise programs based in our community rehabilitation gym, provide inpatient physiotherapy services to our small rural hospital and outpatient physiotherapy services at our Marysville site.


This role would suit an experienced Grade 1 Physiotherapist, who is looking to gain experience in a challenging and diverse role or a Grade 2 Physiotherapist looking to experience rural healthcare. There is a high degree of flexibility in the role, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the structure of our programs and follow your areas of clinical interest. Support with short term accommodation may be an option for those relocating.
