The Role

Adbri Cement is seeking a hands-on Production Services Supervisor to join our Cement & Lime team at Birkenhead.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead the Production Services team and coordinate the people, contractors, plant and operational priorities that support safe, efficient and reliable site performance. This is an opportunity to drive continuous improvement while delivering strong outcomes across safety, productivity, quality, environment and cost.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Production Services team to deliver safe, efficient and reliable operational outcomes.
  • Manage site waste management and industrial cleaning contracts, including contractor performance, compliance, documentation and cost control.
  • Coordinate daily SAP/Fiori administration, mobile plant requirements and workforce planning, including rostering, leave coverage and training.
  • Oversee dust collector performance, inspections, maintenance activities, troubleshooting and shutdown works.
  • Coordinate support for ship operations, CKD unloading, housekeeping, spillage management and other planned site activities.
  • Drive environmental performance through dust control, water cart coordination, greening initiatives and required documentation.
  • Manage operational budgets, contract registers and expenditure, while supporting audits, investigations and corrective actions through Cintellate.

About You

You are a practical and proactive leader with experience supervising teams in a manufacturing, heavy industry or comparable operational environment. You lead by example, promote a positive safety culture and can balance day-to-day delivery with longer-term improvement opportunities.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated team leadership and supervisory experience.
  • A strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and risk management.
  • Experience managing contractors and coordinating operational activities.
  • Sound computer skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking, sound judgement and problem-solving capability.
  • Working knowledge of employment and health and safety legislation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or a related discipline will be well regarded.
