The role

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced project site manager to join our Contracting Services team, managing site projects offering supply, design, and installation for the Adbri Masonry product range. The position will be based at our Stapylton Masonry plant on the Gold Coast and will report to the Queensland State Manager - Contracting Services. 

Our small team comprises project site managers and project engineers working across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. In this role you will utilise your skills and expertise to grow Adbri Masonry's market share by ensuring our products and services fulfil client expectations and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial on-site checks prior to project commencement.
  • Day to day management of projects including liaising with subcontractors and management of material delivery and costs.
  • Maintain solid working relationships with clients.
  • Carry out Quoting and Estimating
  • Ensure product is supplied and/or installed to meet clients’ expectations.
  • Source and qualify local subcontractors to support the installation component of our projects.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with all site and company safety requirements.
  • Deliver training to subcontractors to improve product knowledge, construction best practice principles and safety standards.
  • Promote sales of and offer technical support for Adbri Masonry products.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes.

What you will need to succeed

  • 4-5 years' experience working in project site management roles
  • Experience in the landscaping, masonry or construction industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of landscape products and installation methods
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to build relationships and communicate effectively with all staff members and customers
  • Strong commitment to Safety and Quality
  • Sales experience, or a willingness to be involved in the sales process
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites in and around Queensland within & interstate.
