At Adbri Masonry, we’re building something new. Our team has just been restructured, bringing together people with diverse experiences, perspectives, and working styles.
As the Manager – Operational Improvement, you’ll be at the heart of this transformation and play a pivotal role in guiding and influencing outcomes across our plants. Your goals are clear: streamline processes, lift quality, reduce costs, and foster a safe, efficient, and innovative working culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Assessment & Analysis – Evaluate current processes using data, observations, and stakeholder feedback to identify inefficiencies.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives – Lead projects using Lean or similar frameworks to optimise workflows and embed best practice.
- Data-Driven Decision Making – Apply KPIs, root cause analysis, and performance metrics to validate solutions and track progress.
- Change Management & Training – Support teams through change, provide training on CI tools, and embed a culture of operational excellence.
- Project Management – Scope, plan, and deliver improvement projects on time, within budget, and to expected outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring – Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track sustainability of improvements.
- Client/Customer Focus – Ensure product and service quality, foster commercial excellence, and build strong industry relationships.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re someone who thrives in environments where change is constant and improvement is the goal.
With a background in engineering (Process, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred) and at least five years’ experience in concrete products, construction materials, quarry, or heavy manufacturing, you bring both technical expertise and leadership experience.
You’re analytical, data‑driven, and goal‑focused. But just as importantly, you’re collaborative — a trainer who enjoys building capability in others, a team player who contributes to collective success, and a leader who empowers rather than dictates.
What’s In It For You
- A chance to shape a newly restructured team and leave your mark on its culture.
- Career progression opportunities within CRH, a global leader in building materials.
- Supportive management and a leadership style that values collaboration, trust, and shared accountability.
Safety First
Adbri Masonry is committed to a strong safety culture. We expect 100% commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Adbri Masonry is committed to upholding legal and ethical practices in all business activities.
