The role

We’re seeking a motivated and flexible Maintenance Fitter / Boilermaker to join our team at the Nowra Masonry Plant. In this hands-on role, you’ll apply your technical skills in plant maintenance, working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Safety, Quality & Compliance: Ensure commitment to safety, quality, environmental standards, and maintain accurate documentation (SWMS, JHA/JSA, work permits, visitor logs).
  • Mechanical Responsibilities: Perform mechanical fitting, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and conduct mould maintenance/fabrication.
  • Teamwork & Flexibility: Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and provide coverage across different plant positions when needed.
  • Process & Systems: Support continuous improvement initiatives and utilise SAP for spare parts coordination and stocktakes.

What you will need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a mechanical role or similar
  • A confident, self-motivated, energetic individual
  • A team player with a high degree of trade flexibility or experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
