The role

Adbri Masonry is seeking an experienced leader to shape both the day-to-day performance and long-term direction of the Stapylton site. As Site Manager, you will oversee three operational plants, logistics and maintenance, ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective operations that consistently deliver high-quality products.

You will lead a dedicated team, drive production outcomes, support continuous improvement, optimise assets, manage costs, and uphold high standards in safety, quality and environmental compliance. If you are a strong communicator, practical decision-maker and effective people leader, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact.

This role is located in Stapylton, QLD.

Responsibilities

  • Manage site costs, assets, equipment and housekeeping standards, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and root-cause analysis to support long-term, sustainable operations.
  • Lead, motivate and manage site teams, including rosters, leave, priorities and performance through clear communication and engagement.
  • Deliver site production targets through effective planning, forecasting and supervision of plant, equipment and processes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with WHS, environmental, quality and training requirements, maintaining all site documentation and standards.
  • Manage site costs, assets and housekeeping to ensure efficient, safe and optimal operations aligned with business targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, implementing process enhancements and promoting innovation and root-cause analysis.

What you will need to succeed

  • Engineering qualifications strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in heavy industry or manufacturing, with strong people leadership and change management capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and lead day-to-day operational performance.
  • Sound operational and management aptitude, with the ability to drive productivity, quality and cost outcomes
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office, with SAP experience desirable.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of WHS systems and 5S principles, including development and compliance with SWMS, SOPs and JHAs, to maintain safe, organised and efficient workplaces.
