Senior Manager - Group Accounting

The role

This position leads Adbri’s centralised accounting function, delivering high quality management, statutory, and financial reporting across the organisation. As a key strategic partner to divisional and corporate leadership, the role ensures the provision of transparent, timely, and accurate financial information that supports agile, value driven decision making. It is accountable for driving process efficiency and operational excellence through the implementation of standardised reporting frameworks, automation initiatives, and innovative financial solutions. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, the role ensures that the accounting function remains responsive, efficient, and fully aligned with Adbri’s broader strategic objectives.

Responsibilities 

• Lead timely, accurate financial and statutory reporting across the business.
• Drive efficiency through automation, standardised reporting, and innovation.
• Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team with a focus on accountability.
• Ensure compliance technical accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Partner with business units to deliver insights, support budgeting, and guide capital investment decisions.

What you will need to succeed 

• Bachelor of Commerce, Business or Accounting
• CA/CPA qualified
• 5 years in a senior finance or accounting leadership role
