We’re on the lookout for a commercially astute Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team during an exciting phase of national growth. This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our Concrete, Aggregate & Masonry (CAM) Division, where your legal expertise will help shape strategic decisions and drive operational excellence across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice across a wide range of commercial matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align legal guidance with business strategy
  • Lead legal innovation by streamlining processes and proactively managing risk
  • Support dispute resolution and litigation when required
  • Contribute to governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Enhance ease of doing business through practical, solutions-focused legal support

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 3+ years post-admission experience, ideally from a top-tier firm or in-house legal team
  • Strong background in commercial law; experience in construction materials, infrastructure, or heavy manufacturing is a plus
  • Proven ability to deliver clear, actionable legal advice in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset
  • Passion for legal innovation and continuous improvement
  • Australian Legal Practising Certificate (or eligibility to obtain one)
