The role
Adbri currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quarry Worker to join our team in a full-time permanent position at our Penrose Quarry, NSW.
In this role, you will operate a variety of fixed and mobile plant equipment including loaders, excavators, dump trucks, water carts, service/fuel trucks, and crushing and screening plants. We are seeking a multiskilled operator with demonstrated dump truck and front-end loader experience who thrives in a fast-paced quarry environment.
This position involves day or afternoon shift work, Monday to Friday, with rostered Saturdays as required. You will join a supportive team culture where safety, flexibility, reliability, and taking pride in your work are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strong safety and environmental standards
- Operate a range of mobile plant and quarry equipment
- Operate dump trucks and front-end loaders safely and efficiently
- Support crushing and screening operations
- Complete basic maintenance, inspections, and housekeeping
- Undertake general labouring duties as required
- Work effectively within a team environment
What you will need to succeed
- Experience as a multiskilled operator in quarrying, mining, or similar industries
- Proven dump truck and front-end loader experience
- Current RII/VOC competencies preferred
- Understanding of crushing and screening operations
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong mechanical aptitude and safety focus
