The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety professional to join our team in a dynamic operational environment. This role requires an individual who can effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels while driving meaningful safety improvements and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating incident investigations, conducting audits, and working collaboratively with operational teams to identify and mitigate risks. You will play a crucial role in building safety capability across the organization while maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external contracting partners.

Responsibilities:
- Strength in stakeholder engagement, communication, collaboration and influencing with care, and orientation to performance and outcomes.
- Understanding of the change process, how to drive and influence change in operational settings.
- Ability to listen with intent and show empathy towards frontline workers and operational leaders.
- Curiosity to understand how work is done and why it deviates from prescribed methods or procedures.
- Resilient and positive attitude to overcoming challenges with stakeholders and seeking to continuously improve.
What you will need to succeed:
- Certificate or Degree in Workplace/OHS or related field
- Incident investigation and/or auditing qualifications (e.g. ICAM, Learning Teams, Lead Auditor)
- 5+ years’ experience in regulatory, heavy industry, infrastructure or construction environments
- Proven experience in incident learning, auditing and legislative compliance
- Strong operational, frontline and contractor collaboration to reduce risk and build capability
