The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Business Analyst to take ownership of our FICO landscape, working across a dynamic mix of project delivery and BAU support. You’ll act as the functional SME for FICO while collaborating across MM and SD modules, ensuring seamless integration and business continuity. You will also:

  • Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Own and maintain SAP FICO configurations
  • Develop functional specifications and work closely with external development partners to deliver enhancements and fixes
  • Support project delivery across areas such as credit management, acquisitions, and payment process improvements
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, particularly where finance intersects with MM, SD, and (ideally) PP
  • Participate unit testing and UAT, and manage promotion of changes into production
  • Document functional specs, process flows, and change records
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for SAP-related issues

This is a full time, permanent role based in our Pirie Street offices (hybrid).

What we’re looking for

You’re an experienced SAP FICO professional with exposure to MM and SD and are confident working across integrated environments. You enjoy solving problems, working closely with stakeholders, and turning business needs into practical SAP solutions. You will also bring:

  • Strong experience in SAP FICO with exposure to MM and SD (billing)
  • Ability to work across integrated SAP environments, understanding impacts across modules (especially FI/CO and MM)
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Hands-on configuration experience and strong problem-solving capability
  • Understanding of finance processes including GL, AP, credit management and payments
  • Familiarity with procure-to-pay workflows (desirable)
  • Exposure to PS or PP modules is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
