Plant Manager - Central Premix Concrete - Hallam, VIC

The role

Central Premixed Concrete currently has an opportunity for a Concrete Plant Manager at our Hallam Plant.

Reporting to the Operations & Logistics Manager, this is your opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading construction materials producers and become a valued member of a supportive, close-knit team.

This role offers genuine scope to deliver meaningful short and long-term operational improvements that are critical to our continued growth and profitability.

This role is located in Hallam, Victoria.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Concrete Agitator Drivers, including company and Lorry Owner Drivers
• Coordinate plant maintenance activities
• Batching Concrete
• Manage and monitor staff working hours
• Upkeep of site housekeeping
• Maintain and manage raw material stock levels
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

What you will need to succeed

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the construction materials industry
• Ability to identify and implement operational efficiency improvements
• Strong customer service focus with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills

We own five concrete plants, a hard rock aggregate quarry & modern batch plants are located at Deer Park, Campbellfield, Hallam, Port Melbourne and Gisborne.
