The role
We are currently seeking an experienced HC (Heavy Combination) or MC (Multi Combination) Driver to join our team based at our Hallam site.
This role operates on a roster of five days per week, with the possibility of Saturday work as needed. Night shift positions are available, with working hours from 2:00am to 2:00pm.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe loading, transport, and delivery of raw materials to multiple sites across the Melbourne metropolitan area.
This role is located in Hallam, Victoria and you will be required to travel.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safety compliance
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and mass management
- Load & deliver raw materials
- Complete basic documentation
- Maintain professional customer relationships
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition
- Undertake general yard duties and plant housekeeping
What you will need to succeed
- Current HC license as a minimum
- Previous tipper or tanker experience will be seen as beneficial
- Must have experience operating truck and dog combinations (5–6 axle)
- Relevant building/concrete industry experience is desirable however full training will be provided
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- A reliable team player attitude with a focus on customer service
- Flexibility to work in a small team environment and assist with other duties as required
