The role

The Procurement Business Partner is a permanent, full-time role supporting Adbri’s manufacturing operations through strategic procurement and contract management. Partnering closely with operational, engineering and finance stakeholders, you will lead category and supplier strategies that deliver commercial value, operational reliability and performance outcomes.

This role is located in Pirie Street, Adelaide SA and you will be required to travel weekly to various local sites and occasional interstate travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business to source, negotiate and manage suppliers across key operational categories
  • Develop and implement specific category strategies
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, tenders and contract negotiations
  • Analyse spend and supplier performance data to identify cost optimization and value-creation opportunities
  • You will be an integral part of our procurement team, collaborating closely with stakeholders cross departments to achieve shared goals. As a team player, you’ll help build strong supplier relationships and contribute to the success of our broader sourcing strategy

What you will need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Business Partner or in procurement/supply chain roles within engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated negotiation and analytical capability
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across technical and operational teams
  • Solid understanding of procurement governance, policy and contract management
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
