This is a varied, high-impact role, on a two-year contract. You'll work across multiple sites and jurisdictions and with a wide range of people, from quarry managers and technical specialists to regulators, landowners and community groups.

- Support approvals for quarry expansions, reserve replacement and quarry life extension projects
- Contribute to short- and long-term reserve planning, with a commercial lens
- Scope, budget and schedule approval programmes, and identify and escalate risks
- Manage multidisciplinary consultants on planning, environmental, heritage, traffic, noise, hydrogeological and ecological studies
- Work with the Environmental and Compliance team and site leaders to meet approval conditions and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a complete digital approval history for each operation, and close any gaps in the records
- Represent Adbri in meetings with regulators, landholders and community stakeholders
- Monitor changes to legislation and planning frameworks, and apply them in practice
- Prepare approval status reports for operational and leadership teams
- Support due diligence on potential resource acquisitions
- Lead rehabilitation, biodiversity and land stewardship initiatives
About you

- A degree in Town Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management or a related discipline
- 8–10 years' experience in planning, environmental approvals or a related field

- Experience across more than one jurisdiction, particularly New South Wales and Queensland
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and working across large, multi-site operations
- Excellent written communication, stakeholder engagement and project coordination skills
- A current driver's licence and the ability to travel interstate and intrastate
Desirable
- Experience in quarrying, extractives, mining, construction materials, infrastructure or heavy industry
- Experience developing and implementing project or programme methodologies
- Understanding of quarry operational planning and end-of-life rehabilitation
- Membership of a professional body such as PIA or EIANZ
You are
- Strategic, analytical and practical, with a focus on solutions
- Commercially aware, and able to balance operational, regulatory, environmental and community needs
- Credible and confident with regulators, specialists and operational leaders
