The role

As a Financial Accountant, you’ll provide financial support, analysis, and reporting to finance business partners, the corporate group, and operational divisions. This role is critical in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving improvements in systems and reporting.

This role is located in Market Street, Sydney, NSW.

Responsibilities

  • Complete month-end financial processing and reporting accurately and on time.
  • Maintain fully reconciled balance sheet accounts each month.
  • Ensure compliance with group and statutory reporting requirements (IFRS & US GAAP).
  • Manage financial processes efficiently, including prepayments and journal vouchers.
  • Support audits and tax compliance activities (FBT, GST, PAYG).

What you will need to succeed

  • Qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with 3+ years’ experience.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable asking questions and collaborating across teams.
  • Able to work independently and think outside the box.
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable to change, and solution-focused.
