CRH Australia is seeking a highly capable and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, Australia, this role plays a critical part in financial reporting, budgeting, performance monitoring, and strategic analysis. It also serves as a key liaison between CRH’s central Finance teams and the local Australian businesses, ensuring alignment with group policies and governance.

The Role

  • Lead audit processes, consolidate financial statements, and ensure adherence to Australian Accounting Standards, CRH policies, and SOX controls.
  • Manage budgeting cycles, track KPIs, analyze variances, and deliver strategic insights to support business performance.
  • Develop financial models for forecasting and planning, interpret data trends, and produce reports to guide senior decision-making.
  • Act as a key liaison between CRH central Finance and Australian businesses, coordinating projects and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support Capex reporting, oversee capital activities, and ensure financial operations meet internal and external compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and SOX controls.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools.
