Health and Safety Data and Analytics Officer
- Location: Greenway and Canberra city
- Remuneration : $103,905 plus 15% superannuation
- 15 months Maximum-Term, Full-Time
ActewAGL is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Health and Safety Data and Analytics Officer to join our Safety, Risk and Compliance team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about data-driven insights and committed to creating a safer workplace for our people, customers, and community.
About the Role
As a Health and Safety Data and Analytics Officer, you will:
- Design, configure, and maintain visual analytics products and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Power Query, and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Analyse safety, people, and works data sets to provide actionable insights and support Board and Committee reporting.
- Automate data processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Manage subscriptions to data reports and provide administrative support for ActewAGL’s Audit, Risk, Incident and Action (ARIA) system.
- Champion ActewAGL’s culture principles and contribute to the Health and Safety strategy as a member of the Safety Squad.
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualifications in statistics, data science, or actuarial studies.
- Skilled in Power BI reporting and data analysis (e.g., SQL).
- Knowledge of database management and / or safety management system.
- Willingness to complete Health and Safety Certificate IV at CIT.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
