Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for risk and compliance? ActewAGL is seeking a dynamic Manager Risk and Compliance to lead the implementation of our risk and compliance frameworks, drive continuous improvement, and support our Joint Venture (JV) in achieving its strategic objectives.

About the Role

As the Manager Risk and Compliance, you will:

  • Lead the planning and execution of risk and compliance initiatives across the Joint Venture.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team by coaching, building capability, nurturing talent, and implementing succession planning to ensure sustainable leadership in risk and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in risk, compliance, control assurance and reporting processes
  • Promote a proactive risk culture through education and engagement.
  • Oversee the Actions, Risk, Incidents and Audits (ARIA) system to ensure it supports safety, risk, compliance, and audit frameworks.
  • Present key risk and compliance insights to the Executive, JV Board, and SARC.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate legislative changes and improve systems.

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Qualifications or equivalent experience in risk, compliance, or assurance management
  • Strong understanding of legislative compliance relevant to the ActewAGL JV
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Project management experience
