Manager Group Planning and Analysis

  • Ongoing, Full-Time
  • Salary commencing from $172,353 plus 15% superannuation
  • Location – Canberra City

Opportunity

ActewAGL has an exciting opportunity for a highly collaborative, motivated and analytical individual to oversee the budgeting and forecasting process for the ActewAGL Joint Venture (JV) utilising the Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) application in Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). This includes an annual budget cycle and quarterly full year forecasts (FYF), and a long term forecast (LTF) for the Partnerships within the JV.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning for the JV.
  • Oversee PBCS application and vendor-managed services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Maintain data integrity across PBCS and IBM TM1 Planning Analytics.
  • Prepare board papers and liaise with owners’ representatives on financial reporting.
  • Lead service review meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the first point of contact for functional and technical issues related to planning systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or related discipline, with CA/CPA membership (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within a large, matrix organisation.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, forecasting, and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Excel and multidimensional tools such as IBM TM1, Oracle ERP/EPM.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and interpersonal skills.
