About the role
The Emerging Product Consultant role is a key part of the ActewAGL Energy Transitions Products Group, who are on the cutting edge of the transition to a renewable energy future. Within this dynamic team, your role will be helping our customers make tangible changes to their energy use and transition towards a sustainable energy future.

Reporting to the In-Market Product Manager, you will support the wider team by promoting our suite of Electrical Vehicle products, solar and battery products and energy efficiency programs via phone, emails and in-person at events. You will also pass on customer feedback and insights that assist with adapting and diversifying our product offerings.
Located in the heart of Canberra’s CBD, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, supported by modern technology and with restaurants, shopping and transport at your door.

Responsibilities within this role will include:
- Achieving monthly sales and KPI targets by managing your assigned Leads with calls, emails and other lead nurturing activities,
- Achieve profitable sales growth by meeting team targets and ensuring all customers receive an excellent experience with the ActewAGL brand, throughout the various stages of the purchasing process.
- Take time to understand the customers’ needs and match them to the most suitable energy transition products.
- Accurately maintain the CRM system with customer information which supports sales efforts
About you
To be successful, you will have:
- A passion for, and experience in, sales and customer service
- An interest in the transition to a sustainable energy future
- Prior knowledge of, or an interest in, electric vehicles and home electrification
- Professional approach to all written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage your own workload to achieve results
