ActewAGL is seeking an experienced and influential leader to join our Retail Leadership team as Group Manager Pricing, Analytics & Regulatory. This is a unique opportunity to lead several critical functions that directly shape customer outcomes, commercial performance and strategic decision making across our retail energy business.
As a key member of the Retail Leadership team, you will lead high-performing teams responsible for energy pricing, regulatory and compliance activities, and business intelligence, reporting and analytics. You will drive commercial outcomes while ensuring ActewAGL remains responsive to an evolving regulatory landscape and continues to deliver data-driven insights that support organisational success.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager Retail, you will provide strategic leadership across multiple business functions and play a pivotal role in delivering ActewAGL's commercial and customer objectives.
You will:
- Develop and execute pricing strategies for ActewAGL's electricity and gas portfolio to maximise performance and profitability.
- Lead market analysis, competitive intelligence and pricing governance activities.
- Oversee regulatory submissions, investigations and compliance activities, ensuring obligations are met while supporting commercial objectives.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to implement new regulatory requirements and support strategic initiatives.
- Drive the development of reporting, analytics and business intelligence capabilities that enable informed decision making.
- Provide executive-level reporting, insights and performance analysis to the Executive team and Joint Venture Board.
- Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

About You
You are a proven senior leader with deep commercial experience in the energy sector and a passion for translating complex information into practical business outcomes.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Executive-level experience within the retail energy sector, with expertise in commercial and pricing functions and an understanding of regulatory frameworks, tariff structures and market segmentation.
- Demonstrated experience delivering significant projects and programs while balancing strategic and transformational initiatives with business-as-usual operations and priorities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple business functions and achieve objectives, targets and key performance indicators.
- Strong understanding of energy market dynamics, industry trends and leading practice approaches.
- Extensive leadership experience, including building, leading and developing high-performing teams.
- High level of digital literacy and proficiency in systems, reporting tools and computer applications relevant to the role.
