As a Water Servicing Coordinator, you will support our Water Servicing team with the administrative delivery of their projects/processes including Section 73 applications, building plan approvals, minor works, main to meter, assisting with and developing skills in design/project coordination.

The ideal candidate will thrive in this dynamic role, being able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. This is a great opportunity from someone with strong administration and communication skills to be involved in project coordination and engineering management.

Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing applications, building plan approvals, minor works, main to meter, and assisting with/ developing design/project coordination of major works projects
  • Assisting with project management of minor and major works construction under guidance of senior project managers
  • Coordinating requirements between other disciplines and performing checks of documents and drawings of other disciplines
  • Participating in site inspections for building plan approvals, minor and major works
  • Participating in design reviews, risk assessments, and bid evaluations
  • Assisting clients with the provision of quotes for section 73 applications and building plan approval, minor works and major works
  • Lodging section 73 and building plan approval applications to Sydney Water, following such applications through to completion
  • Assisting with project invoicing
  • Assisting with production of technical designs and documentation under guidance of senior the designers and project managers

 Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated success in a similar role or strong interest in project and design coordination
  • Prior experience within engineering, construction, or professional services will be highly regarded
  • High level organisational, coordination and prioritisation skills 
  • Exceptional communication skills with a commitment to delivering a high quality “internal” customer experience. 
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
