Join ACOR's established and growing Melbourne Electrical team and work on a diverse range of Defence, Health, Government, Commercial and Industrial projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with 2-6 years' experience who is looking to broaden their technical expertise, work closely with experienced industry professionals and be part of a nationally connected team delivering impactful projects across Australia.

Working closely with ACOR's national Electrical team, you'll gain experience across a broad range of sectors while building valuable relationships with clients and project teams.

The Role

• Contribute to the design and delivery of electrical building services projects across Defence, Health, Government, Commercial and Industrial sectors, from concept through to construction.

• Prepare electrical designs, calculations, specifications, reports and technical documentation in accordance with Australian Standards and ACOR's quality framework.

• Undertake site inspections, liaise with clients, contractors and authorities, and provide engineering support throughout project delivery.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ACOR's national Electrical group to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

• Manage project tasks to agreed timeframes and budgets while continuing to develop your technical and consulting capabilities.

About You

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and 2-6 years' experience in building services consulting.

• Experience designing power, lighting, communications and other building services electrical systems.

• Sound understanding of the NCC/BCA, Australian Standards and industry design practices.

• Experience using industry software such as PowerCad, AGi32, Bluebeam or similar design tools.

• Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and a genuine desire to learn, develop and build your career within a growing consultancy.
