As the Civil Team Manager, you will support the success of ACOR both locally and on a national level, requiring a high level of leadership, as well as professional engineering and project management tasks. The employee shall retain independent responsibility to obtain, secure, manage and deliver technically difficult and strategic projects.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business development and leadership
  • Management and guidance of all civil team staff
  • Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with clients that provide opportunities for repeat and profitable business in target market sectors
  • Leading business development activities, including initiatives that enhance our ability to win profitable work
  • Driving a strong client orientation and aligning our service delivery to achieve high value outcomes in line with client needs
  • Developing and improving existing client relationships and delivery strategies


Qualifications & Experience

  • University engineering degree or equivalent, recognised by Engineers Australia
  • Engineers Australia Chartered Civil Engineer (CPEng)
  • Site induction training card (white card)
  • Strong Business Development skills
  • Management and business focus
  • Highly developed engineering and assessment skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • High level organisational, coordination and prioritisation skills
