This is a varied and exciting for role for an Electrical Engineer to gain more experience within a collaborative and supportive environment, with opportunity to be involved in projects from design phase to overseeing construction activities.

The role:

  • Timely management for delivery across a range of projects, including preparation of design, specifications, reports, calculations, drawings, cost estimation and details/schedules.
  • Project delivery is accordance with ACOR’s QA framework
  • Manage all aspects of projects, including design, specification, and reporting
  • Undertaking site visits, providing advice, preparing reports, engineering and construction support services
  • Establish and maintain excellent client relationships through a high-level consultative approach

 You will have:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree qualification
  • 2+ years’ experience in building services
  • Recent, proven experience working on building services projects as design engineer
  • An understanding of the BCA/NCC and strong technical understanding and knowledge of electrical issues.
  • Proven project experience working to Australian Standards, with experience dealing with utilities and other authorities.
  • Proven experience with low voltage power distribution, earthing, communications, security, and lighting system design
  • Proficient in is design software such as Bluebeam, Powercad and AGI32.
  •  Participate in meetings with Supervisors and Project Managers to review specifications, risk and opportunities/alternative strategies.
