Our Building Services team is seeking a Hydraulic Services Consultant to join our growing Sydney office. With a strong pipeline of work across the defence, government, health, commercial and industrial sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging projects while building your career within a nationally recognised consultancy.
This role is suited to candidates from either an engineering or hydraulic services trade background. Whether your experience has come through an Engineering qualification or a Hydraulic Services Design pathway, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists and contribute to the successful delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
The Opportunity
- Deliver hydraulic services designs and documentation across a range of building and infrastructure projects.
- Work on defence, government, health, commercial and industrial projects throughout all project phases.
- Design hydraulic services including sanitary drainage, trade waste, water supply, roof drainage, fuel gas, fire hydrants and associated systems.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Undertake site inspections, technical assessments, design coordination and project delivery activities.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of ACOR's hydraulic capabilities, standards and project delivery practices.
About You
- Experience within hydraulic services consulting, contracting or design environments.
- Qualifications in Engineering, Hydraulic Services Design or an equivalent industry-recognised pathway.
- Knowledge of hydraulic services design, relevant Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
- Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam or similar software.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A desire to continue developing your technical expertise and professional capability.
