We currently have an opportunity for a Civil Designer to join our national civil team. As a Civil Designer, you will support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level. You'll have solid, in-depth experience in and knowledge of 12D and the design of civil plans for a range of project types, including land sub-divisions, commercial and infrastructure projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop concept, concept and construction designs and documentation using 12d software
- Coordination with clients, engineers, and draftspersons in relation to civil engineering (and multidisciplinary) projects.
- Designing to relevant design codes and standards
- Working closely within a team environment to deliver a coordinated product.
- Liaising with ACOR staff, external project consultants, clients and public authorities to ensure successful project outcomes
- Opportunity for contribution towards development of ACOR’s national civil design, CAD and IT systems
- Opportunity to assume design manager roles in addition to civil design delivery if desired
Skills & Experience
- Associate Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering Design or equivalent
- Previous experience working in engineering design or consultancy
- Demonstrate experience in a range of projects including commercial, infrastructure, land development and other multidisciplinary works.
- Experience in urban design highly regarded
