Our Civil Engineering team is currently seeking a Cadet Civil Drafter. The position is suited to an entry level candidate with desire to learn about civil engineering and digital design. This is an exciting career opportunity to be part of an organisation that is embracing Digital Engineering and working smarter with the latest tools and technology.

As a Cadet Civil Drafter, you will support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level. The right candidate will require a foundation of digital design or CAD drafting with an interest in developing their knowledge of civil engineering

The opportunity:

  • Technical design and documentation of civil projects including earthworks, drainage, grading and pavements
  • Coordination with clients, engineers, designers, and authorities on civil design projects
  • Actively contribute as part of a team working on building infrastructure and urban development projects nationally.
  • Produce detailed drawings using software such as 12D and AutoCAD
  • Work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution.

 Required skills and Experience:

  • Currently studying or recently completed Cert IV or Diploma in a relevant field (Civil Construction Design or similar)
  • A willingness to learn and develop skills with an interest in digital design
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
