We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal Structural Engineer to join our Sydney team.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a highly regarded structural engineer with a strong market reputation, established client relationships and a proven ability to win and deliver complex projects. Working closely with our National Structural Service Leader, you will play a key role in shaping the continued growth of our NSW Structural business while leveraging the capability of one of Australia's largest multidisciplinary engineering consultancies.

You will be supported by an established and highly capable structural team, allowing you to focus on building client relationships, securing new opportunities, providing technical leadership and delivering high-value projects across sectors including Defence, Health, Government, Commercial and Industrial developments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key clients, industry partners and project stakeholders to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Identify, secure and lead major project opportunities across Defence, Health, Government, Commercial and Industrial sectors.
  • Provide strategic technical leadership and oversight across complex structural projects from pursuit through to delivery.
  • Work closely with the National Structural Service Leader to grow capability, market presence and project pipeline within NSW.
  • Mentor and develop engineers across the broader structural team while promoting technical excellence and collaboration.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience within a structural engineering consultancy environment, including leadership of major multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong industry profile and market reputation, with demonstrated success in winning work and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Proven experience delivering projects across Defence, Health, Government, Commercial and/or Industrial sectors.
  • Degree qualified Structural Engineer with Chartered status and relevant professional registrations.
  • Strong leadership, commercial and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes at senior levels.
