The Reclaimed inventory controller is responsible for managing, tracking and optimising the lifecycle of reclaimed inventory within the supply chain. This role will be responsible for ensuring all Reclaimed parts are inventoried in the Pinnacle in the correct interchange, identify part number as part of the inventory process and review the demand and price at the time of inventory.

 

Key Accountabilities

Inventory

  • Identify parts correctly against oem numbers for inventory input
  • Manage part resolutions and keep stock up to date on correct interchange
  • Review pricing against market and other internal product categories
  • Liaise with operations regarding potential faulty items and work together to find solutions
  • Receive customer feedback on parts through sales channels and identify areas for improvement

Other

  • Prepare daily, weekly and ad hoc reports
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and customer outcomes
  • Perform other duties as required

Experience & Skills

  • Sound knowledge of the mechanical and automotive repair industry
  • Strong mechanical background across a variety of makes and models
  • Experience using Pinnacle and Bid Buddy systems highly regarded
  • Skilled in interpreting manufacturer parts catalogues and determining interchangeability
  • High attention to process compliance and adherence to business rules
  • Well-developed organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy and reporting capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems
