We're currently seeking a motivated Parts Assistant to join our team in Broadmeadows. Whether you're already experienced in automotive parts or looking to further develop your skills, you'll be joining a supportive team that values hard work, safety, and career progression.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Parts Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring automotive parts are processed, quality-checked, and ready for distribution.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting basic quality control checks on automotive parts
• Scanning, photographing, and labelling vehicle parts
• Packaging and securing parts for transport
• Loading stillages and transfer trucks
• Assisting with stocktakes and consumable counts
• Using scanners to accurately locate and track inventory
• Collecting parts from dismantlers in a timely manner
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Washing engines, transmissions, and other components
• Assisting with fuel draining procedures
• Performing general yard duties and forklift operations as required

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Current Forklift Licence
• Knowledge of automotive parts, panels, and vehicle components
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude

You'll Also Bring

• Experience in a warehouse, yard, automotive, or parts environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional presentation and strong attention to detail
