About the Role
The Partnership & Placement Manager plays a vital role in implementing placement, stakeholder engagement, and career development strategies for higher education and VET programs.
Reporting directly to the National Engagement Manager, this is a permanent, full-time role based in Sydney, NSW. This position is responsible for sourcing, developing, and managing local industry partnerships to ensure high-quality field placement opportunities for Acknowledge Education students.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and secure student placement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with CWA and ESOS Act requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, alumni, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee a high-quality Industry & Career Development (ICD) program for students.
- Collect and analyse feedback from host organisations to improve student readiness.
- Address placement issues and escalate concerns as needed.
About you
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in industry engagement, stakeholder management, community services or social work fields.
- A diploma or degree in Community Services, Social work, Management, or a related discipline is preferable but not required.
- Experience in building and maintaining industry partnerships and executing stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Proven track record of successful business development and program management.
- Understanding of placement processes and compliance requirements in higher education and VET sectors.
