The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated on-site General Practitioner to join our growing team, providing on-site medical care to residents within aged care facilities across Bendigo and surrounding areas.

This role offers a truly rewarding opportunity to practise relationship-based medicine within a supportive and well-structured model of care. As a GP with Access Aged Care, you will be part of a coordinated multidisciplinary team — including experienced nurses, telehealth specialists, and administrative staff — all working together to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care.

Our model is designed to reduce administrative burden, giving you the freedom to focus on clinical care and meaningful patient interactions. You will enjoy professional autonomy, a manageable caseload, and the opportunity to see the direct and lasting impact of your care on residents, their families, and facility teams.

Whether you are an experienced GP or newly Fellowed, this position offers flexibility, variety, and the satisfaction of knowing your work contributes directly to improving health outcomes for older Australians.

What We Offer:

• Attractive Daily Rate: Earn up to $2,000 per day for an 8-hour workday.

• Quality Over Quantity: Manage a caseload of around 25 patients per day, focusing on delivering genuine, person-centred care.

What We’re Looking For:

• AHPRA Registration: General or Specialist registration (no conditions). Please note, overseas applicants without RACGP Fellowship need not apply.
• Availability: Able to work 3 days per week, with the possibility of increased hours as the region expands.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in system-based reporting and familiarity with various software packages is a plus.

If you're nearing completion of your RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship, we’d love to hear from you. Daily Rate: $1,700 to $1,800 per day.
