We have an urgent requirement for an Aged Care RN or EN who is already living locally in the Sunshine Coast region and ready to commence. This is advertised as a 0.8 FTE but we would consider Full Time for the right candidate.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an Aged Care Nurse to support our clinical teams on the ground.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating and facilitating rounds with GPs, and telehealth appointments with Geriatricians, Physicians, and other specialists to ensure residents receive the right care at the right time.

This role is perfect for a confident nurse who loves autonomy and variety, while still making a real difference in aged care.

What You’ll Do

• Facilitate GP rounds, advocating for your patients.
• Coordinate and support Telehealth rounds in RACHs across Sunshine Coast.
• Liaise with GPs, Specialists, and on-site nursing staff to deliver seamless care.
• Manage schedules, documentation, and follow-ups using smart technology (laptop provided).
• Build strong relationships with RACH staff and residents.
• Support the ongoing growth of the Access Aged Care service model through collaboration and communication

What You’ll Bring

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum of 2 years experience POST qualification as either Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
• Aged Care experience (leadership or clinical coordination highly regarded)
• Strong IT skills and confidence working with digital systems
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Critical Thinking and strong clinical knowledge
• A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• A proactive, professional, and flexible approach to work
