About The Role
You’ll support people to live independently and safely in their own homes and communities. This hands-on role involves helping with daily tasks, personal care, and building meaningful connections - guided by care plans and supported by a great team.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing), social support & help around the home for daily admin needs.
- Assisting with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal prep including finding recipes, shopping.
- Encourage community connection and personal goal achievement.
- Open to helping our child participants in getting ready for school, drop off at school.
- Communicate changes or concerns to coordinators.
- Build respectful, professional relationships with clients.
We are looking for permanent part-time staff to support in the following areas: Salisbury, Angle Vale, Hillier, Gawler, Parafield Gardens, Ingle Farm, Valley View
Successful candidates can expect a minimum of 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri (7am-3pm).
About You
We are looking for an experienced mental health support worker with a great attitude, reliability and genuine care for others.
You’ll also bring:
- Cert 3 Individual Support or similar relevant qualification (1st/ 2nd year of RN degree)
- Experience in mental health support/Autism
- NDISWSC
- WWCC
- National Police Check
- Driver’s license and access to a roadworthy vehicle
- First Aid & CPR
- Cantonese speaking is a bonus
