A.B. Paterson College is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Digital Technologies Teacher to join our thriving College community. This full-time position commences in Term 3 and continues until the end of Term 4 2026.
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about Digital Technologies and committed to delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned learning experiences that inspire students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and achieve their personal best. The ability to teach across multiple year levels and adapt to diverse learning needs is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and rigorous Digital Technologies, Digital Solutions, and Design lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus, catering to diverse learning needs.
- Create a collaborative, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, ethical technology use, and proactive behaviour.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely, constructive feedback to enhance digital fluency and academic growth.
- Contribute to the College’s pastoral care and co‑curricular programs, building strong relationships and supporting students’ personal, social, and holistic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage in professional development to share resources, reflect on practice, and support continuous improvement and innovation within the College.

What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Digital Technologies Teacher with strong knowledge of Digital Technologies, Digital Solutions, and Design.
- Experience in Media Arts, Design and Materials would be beneficial but not essential.
- An educator who is familiar with, or willing to embrace, the Teaching for Understanding (TFU) framework developed by Harvard Graduate School of Education.
- A strong commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence
- A collaborative team member who contributes positively to College life
- Someone who embraces innovation and continuous improvement in teaching practice
- A strong background and sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus
- Up-to-date skills in the use of IT and other digital classroom resources
- Current CPR and First Aid training, or willingness to obtain
- Current Teacher Registration is a requirement of this position
