Lab Tech Sr. - 3rd Shift

Job Title: Lab Tech Sr. - 3rd Shift

Location: 901 N. Centerville Road, Sturgis, MI 49091

Duration: 6 Months

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Shift: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sample sequence in each batch.
• Process instrument-acquired data and generate appropriate analytical reports.
• Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data according to each assay SOP.
• Transcribe or upload results to the Laboratory Information System (LIS) for final review and certification.
• Maintain proper and accurate Chain of Custody batch documentation.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and promptly escalate any emerging challenges.
• Maintain and promote a safe and healthful environment for self and co-workers.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience in an analytical laboratory setting.
• Ability to safely handle biological specimens, chemicals, laboratory equipment, and instruments.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous laboratory experience preferred.
