Summary
The Manufacturing Technician supports daily production while contributing to safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements. This role requires strong teamwork, communication, and a desire to grow into engineering-level responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform setup, assembly, packaging, prep operations, line clearance, and basic equipment maintenance per approved documentation and QSR requirements.
- Assist Engineering and Maintenance with troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and minor equipment repairs.
- Complete accurate production and maintenance documentation.
- Participate in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Work with Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Quality, and other team members to solve problems and implement improvements.
- Support continuous improvement (5S, A3s, OEE, standard work) and contribute to safety, quality, delivery, and cost projects.
- Assist with new equipment installation and validation.
- Maintain awareness of quality expectations and potential defects related to design, manufacturing, and testing.
- Demonstrate professional behavior and strong interpersonal skills.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the business.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years in medical device or regulated manufacturing.
- MS Office experience.
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO, OSHA regulations.
- Understanding of manufacturing systems (documentation, compliance, inventory control, scheduling).
- Strong teamwork, communication, and results-focused mindset.

- Initial contract: ~7 months
