Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer supports a high-precision medical device production environment by partnering with production engineers to troubleshoot equipment issues, investigate and resolve yield-related problems, and ensure stable, efficient operations on a carbon-machining-based manufacturing line. This role updates and maintains manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and engineering documentation for operators, contributes to CAPA investigations through root-cause analysis, and drives process improvements that enhance quality, compliance, and throughput. The Manufacturing Engineer also provides ad-hoc operational and technical support while working closely with cross-functional teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support equipment validation activities and maintain validated manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing process issues.
  • Investigate yield-related concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in CAPA investigations and root-cause analysis.
  • Create, update, and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and operator documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Provide ad-hoc engineering support to manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulated industry and medical device requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or life sciences or related feild.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated industry.
  • Experience with equipment validation and process validation activities.
  • Knowledge of CAPA processes and root-cause analysis methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating engineering documentation and operational work instructions.
  • Industry in Medical Device Manufacturing or Regulated Manufacturing Environment
