Title: Project Manager II
Location: Alameda, CA 94502
Duration: 12 Months | Hybrid (4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead cross-functional initiatives within our Portfolio Operations team (PMO). The ideal candidate will have strong project leadership skills, experience in portfolio management tools, and the ability to collaborate across global and local teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage cross-functional initiatives to implement and optimize the organization’s portfolio management tool.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage global/local stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Requirements Translation: Gather and document business needs, translating them into actionable technical plans.
- Business Process Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to align project outcomes with core business processes and operational needs.
- Planning & Execution: Develop integrated project plans, prioritize activities, and drive execution against milestones and success criteria.
- Governance & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, manage risks, and deliver regular status updates to leadership.
- Collaboration & Facilitation: Lead meetings and workshops, ensuring effective follow-up and knowledge sharing across teams.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years in project management and stakeholder engagement, preferably in portfolio or enterprise systems environments.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Project.
- Experience with Planisware or similar portfolio management tools (highly desirable).
Certifications:
- PMP or equivalent preferred; Agile methodology experience is a plus.
Industry Experience:
- Medical device industry background is advantageous.
